AVEA Vitality Bundle
In use since Oct. 2023 · daily, every morning
Not strictly gear, but it's been a fixed part of my daily protocol longer than almost anything else on this page. The Vitality Bundle pairs NMN with a "Booster" (resveratrol, CoQ10, pterostilbene, betaine, apigenin, and niacin) to support the whole NAD+ cycle rather than leaning on a single molecule. I've taken it every morning since October 2023 — over two and a half years — and I'm convinced it plays an active part in my sense of well-being, fewer visible signs of ageing, and steady energy through the day with no mid-afternoon crash. What's imperfect: There's no control group and no blood panel that cleanly isolates its effect from everything else I do, so it's partly an act of faith. I keep taking it because the way I've felt, sustained over that time, is enough evidence for me. AVEA do, however, also list an NAD+ test amongst their products. I'll be ordering one soon, and I'll share the results in a blog post.
Availability: NMN is currently classified as a Novel Food in the EU and is not yet authorised for sale there. EFSA published a positive safety opinion in May 2026, concluding that intake of up to 300 mg a day is safe for adults other than pregnant and lactating women, but authorisation requires a further step that hasn't happened yet — on EFSA's own account this is a regulatory authorisation process, not a safety finding. In Switzerland, AVEA has paused NMN sales while it works the question through with the local authorities, and the NAD+ Vitaliser Bundle is available there in its place — it is built on NR, the other NAD+ precursor, which has been authorised in Europe since 2017. I'll update this page when the position changes.
